Job Title: Principal Semiconductor Reliability Engineer

At Raytheon, we are seeking a highly skilled Principal Semiconductor Reliability Engineer to join our Advanced Microelectronic Solutions Department (AMSD) in Andover, MA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end reliability tasks, including planning, design, testing, analysis, and reporting. They will interact frequently with a team of process engineers, technology owners, and project leads to ensure the success of our semiconductor devices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reliability testing and characterization, with experience in designing and executing reliability test plans for semiconductor devices. They will also have expertise in data analysis and reliability modeling, as well as experience with applied statistics in the reliability field.

We offer a competitive salary range of $96,000 - $200,000, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) match.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end reliability tasks, including planning, design, testing, analysis, and reporting.
  • Interact frequently with a team of process engineers, technology owners, and project leads.
  • Design and execute reliability test plans for semiconductor devices.
  • Perform data analysis and reliability modeling.
  • Apply statistics in the reliability field.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years' of prior work experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years' of prior work experience.
  • Reliability testing and characterization experience in the semiconductor field.
  • Experience in designing and executing reliability test plans for semiconductor devices.
  • Expertise in data analysis and reliability modeling.
  • Experience with applied statistics in the reliability field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in STEM or statistics.
  • Solid state device physics experience.
  • Semiconductor wafer fab processing experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Failure analysis experience with SEM, FIB, STEM, etc.
  • Experience in the RF field.
  • Experience with lab tools such as probe stations, curve tracers, Keithly/Agilent equipment.
  • Experience with programming/scripting.
  • Experience with related industry standards such as JEDEC, MIL.
