Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations at the Front Desk Include:
  • Greet all pilots and customers upon arrival and departure
  • Manage ramp access security
  • Process fuel and service requests
  • Ensure completion of all service requests
  • Finalize service orders, including payment processing via credit card, cash, or check
  • Understand and apply Wilson Air Center's pricing and discount structures
  • Arrange rental vehicles, lodging, and catering for pilots, flight crews, and clients
  • Receive customer requests through various channels including internet, phone, and airinc
  • Verify details in the FBO Manager system during arrivals and departures
  • Maintain a tidy work environment
  • Oversee the courtesy bar, ensuring coffee, tea, and supplies are consistently available
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor, including appropriate appearance and attitude
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Perform housekeeping tasks
  • Assist with special giveaways
  • Stay informed about local events, dining options, accommodations, and directions
Other Duties:

Additional tasks may be assigned as per location requirements.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Candidates must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 70 lbs from floor to waist level or higher on a regular basis; perform repetitive tasks and motions, including bending, standing, sitting, squatting, kneeling, crawling, and twisting for extended periods. Adequate vision is necessary to safely execute essential job functions; ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as ear protection, safety glasses, gloves, and high-visibility clothing when necessary. This role involves both indoor and outdoor responsibilities in an airport setting, requiring the ability to endure extreme weather conditions and temperature variations.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be at least 18 years old; possess a high school diploma or GED; hold a valid driver's license; successfully pass pre-employment and random drug screenings; and complete an extensive 10-year background check. Candidates should be people-oriented, highly motivated, and maintain a positive attitude; comply with company policies; work efficiently under time constraints; and be available for varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to stand for extended periods, attend mandatory training, have computer proficiency, possess basic math skills for conversions, and communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking). A minimum of one year of customer service experience is required, with face-to-face interaction and prior FBO experience preferred.
