Child Health Support Specialist

Description
This role requires a highly skilled individual to work under the direction of a Registered Nurse, providing high-quality patient care to children and adolescents. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing direct patient care, including vital signs measurement, documentation, and Point of Care testing.
  • Supporting clinical operations and decisions related to treatment plans.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to foster a therapeutic relationship.
  • Maintaining a safe environment for patients, families, and staff through continuous monitoring and additional activities as assigned.

Requirements:
A High School Diploma/GED and completion of a program leading to certification as a Nursing Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse are required. Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is also necessary.
