We are seeking a dedicated Child and Family Care Specialist to join our team at Rosecrance, a leader in providing behavioral health services for over a century. About the Role

Responsibilities

The Child and Family Care Specialist will provide continuity of program services for children and adolescents in a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with regulatory and accreditation standards. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing individual, family, and group counseling sessions for clients and/or family members.
  2. Completing client psychosocial and individualized treatment plans within required timeframes.
  3. Identifying client clinical and case management needs and working to address those needs.
  4. Maintaining effective communication with all staff members.
  5. Presenting workshops, lectures, and training sessions to clients, families, and staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies, or a related field.
  • Licensure as an LSW, LPC, or AMFT in Illinois.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to navigate electronic healthcare records.
  • Skill in conducting individual, family, and group counseling sessions.
  • Ability to work within a team and maintain confidentiality.
