Position: Staff Accountant

The Accounting Team at C3 Presents is seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to become a vital part of our organization. This full-time position focuses on maintaining precise financial records, evaluating essential financial metrics, and assisting the Senior Accountant in overseeing budgets and financial reports for various events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee month-end closing activities, project accounting, and deferred revenue management.
  • Support the reconciliation of workflow approvals and actual project costs.
  • Process cash requests and prepare necessary journal entries.
  • Conduct cash float reconciliations following events.
  • Administer talent payments, deposits, settlements, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Prepare reconciliations for bank and balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist in the review of revenue settlements and journal entry preparation.
  • Generate invoices and document revenue recognition.
  • Update monthly financial forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialists to ensure accurate processing of transactions.
  • Maintain organized accounting files and provide support during audits.
  • Facilitate wire transfers and assist Accounts Payable with required documentation.
  • Execute additional accounting tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with Oracle software is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-driven with effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Positive demeanor and willingness to travel occasionally.
