As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in the execution of our Artificial Intelligence (AI) vision and the deployment of solutions that transform how we operate and make decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • AI Governance
    • Facilitate a consistent and transparent Simplot AI decision-making process with senior leadership across legal, procurement, business, and IT teams.
    • Research potential risks and value of new AI solutions and present findings to AI governance stakeholders.
    • Develop and share expertise on leading AI laws and regulations, standards efforts, and best practices.
    • Capture and facilitate consensus for clear AI standards.
    • Manage enterprise AI solution governance repository and maintain enterprise registry of AI solutions.
    • Provide training and education on core AI concepts, standards, and best practices.
    • Ensure AI standards are implemented and reflected through solution procurement, design, development, implementation, and monitoring practices.
  • Data Science Solution Delivery
    • Facilitate sessions with the business to define moderately complex AI use cases.
    • Capture and document product functional requirements from business partners, including new features and enhancements. Regularly obtain feedback from business owners and stakeholders to confirm requirements are met prior to deployment. Manage requirements throughout product lifecycle.
    • Define test cases based on specific business use cases. Coordinate UAT with team members and business partners.
    • Demonstrate technical and non-technical expertise with foundational data management or machine learning/AI knowledge and skills and exert influence within the immediate team.
    • Participate in the delivery of solutions to moderately complex or complex problems.
    • Represent team to business partners.
    • Consult with team members and other organizations, business partners, and vendors on complex issues.
    • May complete configuration of AI solutions individually in low-code environments, or through more junior analysts or vendors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • 3-8 years of experience.
  • Required certifications.
