License and Permit Specialist II

Job Summary:The License and Permit Specialist II will provide administrative support to the Business Licensing Division, ensuring that all permits and licenses are processed efficiently and effectively. This role will involve working closely with customers, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and issue permits and licenses in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Work closely with customers to ensure that all requirements are met and that permits and licenses are issued correctly
- Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and easily accessible
- Perform other administrative tasks as required, such as data entry and filing
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a government or public sector setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry
