  • Compensation: $17.51 per hour
  • Available Shifts: 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm, or 11pm to 7am
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Sunday (Weekend availability is essential)

Preferred Qualifications: Security or healthcare experience is advantageous.

Allied Universal Services is actively seeking a Professional Hospital Security Officer. The Security Officer will operate within a healthcare environment, ensuring the safety and security of the facilities. Our officers play a crucial role in fulfilling our mission to serve, secure, and care for the individuals and businesses in our communities. The Professional Security Officer is tasked with maintaining the safety and security of the premises, acting as a visible deterrent to crime and violations of client policies. They are responsible for identifying and reporting any suspicious, unsafe, or criminal activities that may pose a threat to property, clients, guests, or employees.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • A minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in a customer service-related field.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • No criminal charges in the past 7 years.
  • Valid security guard license as required by state regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with various personnel and the public.
  • Ability to prepare clear and legible reports and logs; computer skills may be required.
  • Successful completion of a background investigation and a pre-employment drug test is mandatory.
  • Must maintain current active status of all required licenses while on duty.
  • Ability to manage both routine and crisis situations effectively.
  • Professional demeanor when answering phones or greeting guests.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Capacity to handle the pressures of working with a high volume of the general public.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Ability to navigate stairs in case of elevator unavailability.
  • Occasional bending and twisting to perform various tasks.
  • Assistance in lifting patients as needed.
  • Capability to restrain individuals when necessary to prevent harm.
  • Physical readiness to run if required.
  • Willingness to work in various environmental conditions.
Uniform and Grooming Standards:

Uniforms must be clean and worn in a professional manner. Identification badges must be displayed at all times while on duty. Slip-resistant footwear is required, and grooming standards must be adhered to, including facial hair regulations for mask compliance.
