  • Compensation: $17.51 per hour
  • Shifts Available: 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm, or 11pm to 7am
  • Work Schedule: Monday through Sunday (Weekend availability is essential)

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in security and/or healthcare settings is advantageous.

Allied Universal Services is actively seeking a Professional Hospital Security Officer. This role involves working within a healthcare environment, where our officers play a crucial role in fulfilling our mission to serve, secure, and care for the communities we protect. The Professional Security Officer is tasked with ensuring the safety and security of the facilities under their supervision. They serve as a visible deterrent to criminal activity and enforce client regulations; they identify and report any suspicious, unsafe, or unlawful behavior that may pose a risk to property, clients, guests, or staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a secure environment by monitoring activities and conducting regular patrols.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm and efficient manner.
  • Prepare detailed reports and logs as required.
  • Provide assistance to staff and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in a customer service role.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • No criminal charges in the past 7 years.
  • Possession of a valid security guard license as required by state regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle both routine and crisis situations effectively.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Ability to navigate all floors of the facility, including stairs.
  • Occasional lifting and assisting with patient transport.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage high-volume public interactions.
Grooming and Uniform Standards:

Uniforms must be maintained in a professional manner at all times. Compliance with grooming standards is essential to ensure safety and professionalism.
