Senior Benefits Analyst

At CircleCI, we recognize that comprehensive benefits are crucial for attracting and retaining exceptional talent. We are seeking an experienced benefits program manager who can blend strategic insight with collaborative skills to enhance our benefits offerings. This role is essential for optimizing our benefits framework as we scale and evolve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of benefits initiatives and strategies, including health and wellness programs, retirement solutions, paid leave, disability coverage, and leave management, ensuring alignment with our organizational values to attract and retain top-tier talent.
  • Advocate for global benefits initiatives such as Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), wellness initiatives, and effective communication strategies across various regions.
  • Contribute to the formulation of a comprehensive benefits strategy and vision across multiple products, fostering consensus and alignment with stakeholders by analyzing industry trends and benchmarks.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in benefits to design and execute competitive global offerings.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the global benefits landscape, providing expertise in both the technical aspects of benefits administration and current market trends.
  • Manage benefit communication platforms (such as internal wikis, FAQs, and onboarding materials), processes, and policies.
  • Coordinate annual benefits plan renewals while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations across different jurisdictions.
  • Provide front-line support for daily benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, COBRA, and leave of absence programs.
  • Lead daily operations related to data troubleshooting, file management, employee inquiries via internal communication channels, and general issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance and enhance operational efficiency across all global regions through process documentation, controls, and effective vendor management.
  • Manage all aspects of benefits onboarding for new hires, terminations, and qualifying events in collaboration with carriers, HRIS, and employees.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee benefit records.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of extensive experience in benefits program design, management, and communication, with practical exposure to benefits across multiple countries.
  • Strong analytical skills to dissect problems into logical data sets, utilizing tools like Google Sheets and Excel to develop solutions.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, encompassing presentations, documentation, and facilitation.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities grounded in collaboration.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, capable of multitasking and prioritizing effectively.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, particularly in a startup context.
  • Familiarity with general HR processes, compliance, and integrated payroll systems.
  • Experience with Workday systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CEBS or CCP certification is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Experience with leave of absence management.
  • Knowledge of global benefits practices.
