About the Role

We're seeking a Business Development Manager to join our sales team at our Buffalo, NY location. This strategic role is responsible for achieving sales growth within an assigned region by executing the sales plan. The ideal candidate will have initiative, lead by example, and represent Conax well, with a hunter mentality to ensure maximum sales volume, profitability, and revenue potential for existing and new products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, strategically growing revenue within key accounts in an assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key executives within the focus area assigned.
  • Interface with the management team to assist in the development of budgets, sales policies, forecasts, reports, and other information as required.
  • Travel approximately 50% of the time, with sales experience in engineered sensors, seals, and cable harness assemblies highly desirable.
Requirements

This position requires a technical acumen (degree preferred but not required) and direct sales experience of highly engineered products to large end users and OEM's. Salary ranges for this position are determined based upon the job location and can be adjusted based upon experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our individual teammates.

Base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $98,000 annually based upon experience. We are an equal-opportunity employer.
