Job Summary:- Provide clinical services as part of a multidisciplinary team, including professional diagnosis and prescribing and/or administering treatment.
- Apply medical knowledge and skills to diagnose, prevent, and treat illnesses, offering treatment options and input to treatment plans.
- Collaborate with case managers, therapists, nurses, and program managers to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Function independently and as part of a team to perform age-appropriate history and physicals for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient's age-specific needs.
- Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.
- Implement interventions to support patients in regaining or maintaining physiologic stability.
- Monitor the effectiveness of interventions through follow-up with patients.
- Perform various procedures, including administering injections, minor surgical procedures, and phlebotomy.
- Registered Nurse in the State of CT, with Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Board Certification as an APRN.
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification in specialty area.
- Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS); CPR certified.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required for all new employees, unless approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, or religious belief.
