Pediatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team at Connecticut Children's. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the development of our pediatric programs.
Responsibilities- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans, under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Medical Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and procedures, and apply this knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
- Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication skills, including written and verbal communication, to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate respect, empathy, and compassion in interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism, including accountability for assigned work and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
- Education: Graduate degree in nursing (APRN) or physician assistant program (PA) accredited by a national certifying body.
- Experience: No related experience required.
- Licensure/Certification: Current State of Connecticut APRN licensure (APRN) or PA licensure (PA), and Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, as required.
