Job Opportunity

BLDG SVC 32 B-J is seeking a part-time CPR/AED and First Aid Instructor to teach classes in Massachusetts.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and dynamic teacher with good interpersonal skills who can work in diverse linguistic and cultural settings. The ideal candidate will be able to empower workers through industry skills education.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the program curriculum and incorporate provided educational materials.
  • Teach course content using a student-centered approach.
  • Maintain and submit attendance records.
  • Communicate effectively with the supervisor.
  • Participate in relevant professional development activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Spanish fluency required.
  • Flexible schedule with willingness to work weekends and weekday evenings.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certifications from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to use digital platforms for instruction, communication, and data recording.
  • Willingness and ability to travel independently throughout Massachusetts.

  • Record of completed COVID-19 vaccine or confirmed medical/religious exemption.
  • Compliance with current COVID-19 protocols.

Compensation

  • $75 per teaching hour.
  • Paid preparation time.
  • Paid in-house training, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
  • Some locations may qualify for paid travel time and expenses.
