Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team on the 6 South Med/Telemetry Floor. As a PCA, you will work closely with our Registered Nurses to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with clinical tasks, including blood glucose monitoring, EKGs, and simple dressings
  • Respond to medical emergency situations using Heartsaver CPR and AED skills
  • Support patients and family members, taking an active role in the efficient operation of the unit
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide patient-centered care
About the Unit

Our 6 South unit is a fast-paced medicine/telemetry teaching unit, equipped with the latest technology, including telemetry, Vocera, Epic, and virtual patient observation. We care for a diverse adult population with acute and chronic conditions, including asthma, COPD, renal disease, and more.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED certificate required
  • Certified nursing assistant or current nursing student with Fundamentals of Nursing or equivalent med/surg clinical rotation
  • AHA Heartsaver, CPR, and AED program required
