Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Supply Chain Department. Duties include compiling and furnishing the necessary data to the buyers to create and expedite purchase orders and maintain a desirable inventory level.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Reconcile and code invoices, and assist in the management of payable schedules, including freight, duties, credit card, safety shoes, uniforms, etc. using ERP software, Microsoft D365, and Excel.

Create and maintain purchasing files, project files, and all other supply chain documentation.

Enter data maintenance information, including cost, analyst codes, lead times, item/vendor cross reference, acknowledgement report (ACK), etc. into Microsoft D365/ERP system or Excel spreadsheet.

Provide information and materials, including shipping/receiving documents, to and from various departments using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and sourcing software.

Complete material transfers to warehouse, plant, and customer consignment locations using the ERP system.

Expedite orders and resolve delivery inconsistencies or delays using the ERP system and email/phone contact with suppliers.

Provide administrative support to the Purchasing team by tracking shipments, processing invoices, monitoring domestic carrier shipments, and managing office supplies (ERP, Outlook, Word, and Excel).

Assist the Purchasing team with various projects and transactions as required.

Obtain data and perform statistical analysis, including creating graphs and charts, to generate monthly operational reports and forward to internal and external stakeholders (scorecard, KPI data, forecast, shipping/receiving performance, etc.).

Process purchase orders following established purchasing department procedures using ERP software and Microsoft Office.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of three years' experience in a similar position, preferably in a business or manufacturing environment.

Intermediate or higher proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through on work assignments. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required. Ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to analyze data and solve problems. Experience with international business a plus. Experience with ERP systems required, with a preference for Microsoft D365. Previous experience with construction products preferred.

Work Environment:

Normal office environment requiring the ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and see. May involve the ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects of up to 25 pounds, infrequently.
