Job Summary

Culinary Management Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Assistant Catering Supervisor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of catering events, from initial consultation to final cleanup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients to determine event objectives and requirements
  • Obtain event specifications, including number of attendees, schedule, and menu
  • Review event function sheets and ensure thorough understanding of requirements
  • Requisition equipment and supplies as needed
  • Coordinate with staff at event sites to ensure seamless execution
  • Inspect event rooms prior to events to ensure setup and menu meet client expectations
  • Direct and supervise breakdown and cleanup after events
  • Account for equipment and supplies, returning items to storage areas
  • Greet clients and be present throughout events to assist as needed
  • Coordinate with fellow employees to meet guest needs and support restaurant operations

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in catering or food service
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Serve Safe certification preferred

Compensation:

We offer competitive compensation, ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
