About the Role

Newport Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Substance Use Disorder Professional to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a critical role in providing evidence-based care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive ASAM assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide counseling and case management services to clients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and continuity.
  • Develop and facilitate group therapy sessions focused on substance use recovery and relapse prevention.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices in substance use disorder treatment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., counseling, social work, psychology).
  • Current Substance Use Disorder Professional credential from the state where services are being provided.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
