Position Overview:

Norco, Inc. is in search of dedicated and personable individuals to become part of our Medical Customer Service - Central Support Pre-Qualification Team. This team plays a crucial role in shaping the initial interactions patients have with Norco regarding their new prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update patient profile information with accuracy.
  • Engage with patients and referral sources to ensure comprehensive account details.
  • Initiate customer outreach and follow up as necessary.
  • Handle a significant volume of inbound and outbound calls efficiently.
  • Utilize call scripts to navigate various topics effectively.
  • Identify customer needs, clarify inquiries, and research issues to provide appropriate solutions.
  • Document customer interactions in Norco's electronic system clearly and comprehensively.
  • Achieve personal qualitative and quantitative performance targets.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of products, availability, pricing, and usage.
  • Educate patients on medical products and services.
  • Direct patient information to the relevant departments for order processing, delivery, and billing.
  • Accurately process customer orders in the computer systems.
  • Facilitate referrals to community agencies to ensure continuity of care.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to address billing inquiries or refer to appropriate personnel (training provided).
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Capability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient typing and 10-key skills.
  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods.
  • Competence in accurately entering data into computer systems and learning necessary software applications.
  • Experience in a medical field, such as Respiratory Therapy or Nursing, is advantageous.
