Position Overview:

Norco, Inc. is seeking dedicated and personable individuals to become part of our Medical Customer Service - Central Support Pre-Qualification Team. This team plays a crucial role in shaping the initial interactions patients have with Norco regarding their new prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and accurately input patient profile information.
  • Engage with patients and referral sources to ensure comprehensive and precise account details.
  • Initiate contact with customers in a professional and engaging manner.
  • Handle a significant volume of inbound and outbound calls efficiently.
  • Adhere to established call protocols when addressing various topics.
  • Identify customer needs, clarify inquiries, investigate issues, and provide effective solutions.
  • Document customer interactions in Norco's electronic system clearly and concisely.
  • Achieve personal performance targets in both quality and quantity.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of products, availability, pricing, and usage.
  • Educate patients and clients on medical products and services.
  • Direct patient information to the appropriate departments for order processing, delivery, and billing.
  • Process customer orders and accurately enter them into the computer systems.
  • Facilitate necessary referrals to community agencies to support continuity of care.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to address billing inquiries or direct them to the appropriate personnel (training provided).
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and utilize time efficiently.
  • Proficient typing and 10-key skills.
  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods.
  • Competence in accurately entering data into computer systems and learning necessary software applications.
  • A background in medical fields, such as Respiratory Therapy or Nursing, is advantageous.
