Overview:

This pivotal IT position is tasked with guiding decisions and configurations for the integration of Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) within SAP. The role involves supporting daily stakeholders in Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, and Manufacturing. Collaboration with other SAP Functional Analysts, developers, IT leadership, and business personnel is essential to comprehend, prioritize, and develop solutions that align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct prototypes and develop functional specifications, ensuring alignment with business strategies.
  • Perform data mapping and functional mapping, configuring tables and transaction/control tables within the SAP environment and other business systems.
  • Collaborate with the SAP development team and Power BI/Microsoft development team to ensure systems meet functional specifications.
  • Identify and address gaps in business processes, integrating new systems with existing workflows.
  • Engage in security and authorization setup, user documentation, data interface design, data migration, and reconciliation.
  • Participate in the installation and optimization of modifications, as well as data archiving.
  • Manage multiple functional tasks of moderate technological complexity.
  • Contribute as a team member on various projects.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with team leads, business units, and IT management.
  • Provide training and support to users on new functionalities.
  • Act as a credible representative for business functions, leading initiatives to drive change.
  • Influence business leadership in decisions aimed at enhancing and transforming business processes.
  • Proactively identify and resolve complex business challenges.
  • Determine optimal solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Serve as an IT liaison with software solution vendors.

Educational Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Disciplines, or a related field is required, along with knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4 Hana.

Experience Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in analyzing and gathering requirements to create user system solutions.
  • 1-3 years of experience across multiple SAP modules (MM, PP, FI, CO, SD, etc.).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint integration with SAP is advantageous.
  • Prior SAP implementation experience is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of configuration and business experience.

Competencies:

  • Thorough understanding of data analysis, database development, and reporting applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of business processes and workflows to facilitate the analysis of business requirements and the development of effective solutions.
  • Ability to drive business strategy development through a comprehensive understanding of specific function/process areas.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficient computer skills.
  • Basic programming skills in relevant languages to develop necessary workarounds and SAP queries.

This position operates within a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
