OVERVIEW

Join our team to work alongside the Engineering Manager in the establishment, validation, and enhancement of manufacturing methodologies. Oversee New Product Introductions and Engineering Change Orders while facilitating the integration of new processes and supporting the onboarding of new business ventures.

Manage and oversee all Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Routings within the ERP system, ensuring adherence to safety standards, cleanliness, and continuous area improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the optimization of manufacturing processes and resolve any arising issues.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 13485 standards.
  • Draft validation protocols and comprehensive reports for new machinery and processes.
  • Create technical drawings, models, and operational instructions.
  • Lead investigations into root causes and manage customer complaint resolutions.
  • Identify potential equipment enhancements and substantiate capital requests.
  • Employ Continuous Improvement methodologies and Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Guide projects through the Engineering Change Order process.
  • Engage with clients regarding product inquiries and development opportunities.
  • Coordinate calibration and maintenance schedules for equipment.
  • Spot opportunities for enhancements in safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Support special projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

SAFETY TRAINING

Completion of General Safety Orientation and Hearing Protection Training is mandatory.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting within a regulated industry.
  • Experience working in a Clean Room environment is essential.
  • Proficient in Solidworks and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to compose reports and business correspondence effectively.

MATHEMATICAL APTITUDE

Strong grasp of fundamental mathematical concepts.

ANALYTICAL SKILLS

Familiarity with manufacturing processes aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks as necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Potential exposure to moving mechanical components and chemicals, with possible loud noise levels.
