About the Role

The Residential Field Sales Representative is a key member of our team at Wideopenwest, Inc., responsible for driving growth and customer acquisition in our residential markets. As a seasoned sales professional, you will be the face of our company, building relationships with customers and promoting our services to new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Customer Acquisition: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets by selling our full line of internet, video, mobile, and phone services to new residential customers within assigned territories.
  • Community Engagement: Represent our company at community events, association meetings, and other local events to promote our services and build brand awareness.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Partner with sales leadership, local operations, and marketing teams to gather and share competitive intelligence within the market.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, including sales leadership, local operations, and marketing teams.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma/GED is required; a college degree in sales, marketing, or business is preferred.
  • Experience: One to three years of professional sales experience, preferably in the communications or technology industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Highly organized, flexible, detail-oriented, and able to multitask under pressure; self-motivated and able to work independently; ability to meet external demands, pressures, strict deadlines, and sales objectives.
