Position Overview:

This entry-level sales role provides a diverse range of opportunities to learn about sales functions and the homebuilding sector. Sales Associates represent Ashton Woods Realty/Homes by effectively communicating company policies and procedures regarding products and services to prospective clients. They are expected to conduct themselves ethically and professionally at all times, adhering to good business practices and established policies. The role involves identifying and qualifying potential clients to secure sales and facilitating the home buying process to achieve company sales targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and surpass company sales targets.
  • Thoroughly understand and effectively communicate all product offerings, building processes, financing options, and mortgage procedures to assist prospects and buyers.
  • Accurately prepare various reports, including competition analysis and sales traffic reports for the communities.
  • Stay informed about competitive activities and maintain awareness of community information, such as schools, utilities, tax details, shopping, local employment centers, and recreational areas.
  • Engage in ongoing education through seminars and training sessions.
  • Comprehend all sales agreements and addenda, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Maintain open communication with potential homebuyers, team members, and vendors.
  • Track and address the needs of each homebuyer throughout the sales process, delivering customer-oriented service as per training.
  • Ensure the sales office and model homes are always neat, clean, and well-lit.
  • Monitor and manage on-site signage as required.
  • Utilize the Lead Management System effectively, ensuring it is current and accurate.
  • Develop and deliver a compelling sales presentation to prospective buyers.
  • Complete registration cards for all prospects and evaluate traffic quality.
  • Conduct weekly builder meetings and maintain accurate meeting minutes.
  • Complete all necessary company paperwork promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain effective communication with Project Managers and ensure timely updates for customers during the construction process.
  • Engage with realtors to generate referral sales through excellent customer relations.
  • Maintain a customer satisfaction rating of 90% or higher.
  • Attend all sales meetings and company events.

Qualifications:

  • A four-year degree in Sales or Marketing from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and insurance for business travel is necessary.
  • 3-5 years of experience in residential home sales is preferred.
  • Experience in the homebuilding industry is essential.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in word processing, email, spreadsheets, presentation software, and database management.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret information and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professionalism.
  • Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of the homebuilding process and financing options.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a typical office environment with standard office equipment. The role requires active engagement, including travel to various locations for sales activities, and may involve variable work hours.
