In this position, you will play a vital role in providing administrative assistance to patients, colleagues, and referral sources by managing front office operations. The ideal candidate will possess a background in administration, demonstrating strong computer skills and a commitment to customer service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Creating and maintaining patient records
  • Scanning and organizing patient documents
  • Handling incoming phone inquiries
  • Securing insurance authorizations
  • Offering financial guidance to patients and processing payments
  • Conducting daily document research using electronic health record systems
Essential Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in customer service or administrative roles is required.
  • Must possess, or be eligible for, a valid driver's license in accordance with company policy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience with electronic medical record systems.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical insurance terminology.
  • Associate's degree is preferred.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and office equipment.
  • Basic accounting skills.
Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this role, the employee will frequently be required to sit, walk, and stand; occasionally bend or twist; regularly communicate in person and by phone; operate standard office equipment; reach overhead; and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
