">Job Summary
">We are seeking an experienced and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our Department, you will oversee therapy procedures, in-service education, tracheotomy and ventilator management, as well as interdisciplinary care with core and ancillary staff.
">Responsibilities
">- Perform all duties related to the respiratory care program, ensuring quality and patient-centered care.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures, maintaining a commitment to excellence and safety.
- Maintain a consistent work schedule, providing emergency coverage when necessary and collaborating with family members, physicians, and healthcare professionals.
- Take an active role in in-service education for employees and the community, contributing to quality assurance and reports.
- Assist with on-call duties, updating supervisors on patient status and changes.
- Ensure safety, care, and cleaning of equipment, and maintenance of the department.
Key Interfaces
">- Patient & family members, promoting effective communication and empathy.
- Unit Pulmonologist/Physician/Nurse Practitioner, working collaboratively to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Facility staff (physical/speech/occupational therapy, social services, nursing, core care group), fostering a culture of teamwork and coordination.
- Regional Hospitals & Home care (referral sources), developing strong relationships and referrals.
- Respiratory Therapy Staff/Peers, engaging in professional development and knowledge sharing.
- Unit Manager, maintaining open communication and alignment with departmental goals.

Estimated Salary
">$67,000 - $87,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
