Job Summary

This position requires an Associate's Degree and certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). You'll work independently in all acute and critical care settings, performing duties necessary to treat patients in accordance with physician orders and departmental policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general and critical care procedures, including blood gas analysis and mechanical ventilation management.
  • Develop and implement respiratory care plans to meet the needs of patients with various medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective treatment and communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of patient care and services provided.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program.
  • South Carolina Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
  • BLS certification.

Working Conditions

This role requires flexible scheduling, including nights and weekends. You'll work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $83,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
