Advanced Practice Provider, Critical Care Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in Critical Care Medicine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive patient care, working under the supervision of physicians to deliver high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and identify patient problems, performing thorough histories and physical examinations.
- Write prescriptions, order laboratory data, and interpret radiological tests to inform treatment decisions.
- Monitor patient status and response to treatments, documenting findings in medical records.
- Recommend therapeutic interventions and interact with consultants as needed.
- Provide education and counseling to patients, directing them to relevant agencies and resources.
- Supervise NP, PA, health science, and medical students as appropriate.
- Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies, with completion of an approved course of study.
- Current NCCPA certification and D.C. licensure as a Physician Assistant, or ANCC certification and D.C. licensure as an NP.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and walk for long periods in a clinical setting, with occasional lifting of over 100 lbs.
