Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking highly skilled Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our team of Advanced Practice Providers in Richmond, VA. As a key member of our clinical care team, you will work alongside DispatchHealth Medical Technicians to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the comfort of patients' homes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive health assessments and diagnose complex illnesses
- Provide therapeutic interventions, such as splinting, suturing, and wound care
- Use critical thinking skills and evidence-based standards of practice to deliver care
- Accurately document patient encounters and ensure continuity of care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Identify and proactively solve problems to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in ER, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, or relevant areas
- Graduate with an advanced degree from an accredited institution
- Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Nationally board certified, current
- Current BLS required, ACLS certification preferred
- Prescriptive authority and DEA
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work a varied schedule with evenings, holidays, and weekends
