We are seeking a skilled Physician to join our team at the Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center. As a vital member of our healthcare community, you will provide direct patient care and participate in medical teams to deliver high-quality services.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a dynamic environment, serving patients from diverse backgrounds. You will be responsible for providing continuous comprehensive and culturally sensitive health care, meeting minimum productivity requirements, and contributing to case management and QA/QI activities.
Key Responsibilities- Direct Patient Care: Participate in obstetrics, family planning, newborn care, pediatrics, and general adult care, dependent on your specialty.
- Productivity and Quality: Meet minimum patient care productivity requirements and provide high-quality care that meets the needs of our patients.
- Case Management: Provide case management to Center patients and contribute to case review and discussion.
- Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate medical records, communicate effectively with patients and staff, and provide supervision and guidance as needed.
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong commitment to working with patients from diverse backgrounds, bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, and current Oregon medical licensure and DEA registration. Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is also required.
Working EnvironmentYou will work in a well-lighted, ventilated environment with exposure to blood-borne pathogens and potentially hazardous chemicals. Familiarity with medical equipment, such as stethoscopes, ophthalmoscopes, and surgical/procedural instruments, is essential.
