Job Title: Physician Assistant - Orthopedic Care Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our team at MedAdventures. As an integral part of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with orthopedic conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and goals.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility.
  • Utilize various modalities such as trigger point therapy to alleviate pain and promote healing.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and preventive care strategies.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients in outpatient clinics or home community care settings.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy practices.
* Experience or knowledge in geriatrics, pediatrics, outpatient care, home health, or clinic settings is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in various therapeutic techniques including trigger point therapy.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
* Ability to assess patient needs quickly and adapt treatment plans accordingly.

Compensation and Benefits:
* $48.00 - $50.00 per hour
* Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), dental insurance, disability insurance, flexible spending account, health insurance, health savings account, life insurance, referral program, retirement plan, and vision insurance.

Work Environment:
* 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday.
* In-person work location.
