About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you'll be responsible for ensuring that medications are dispensed correctly and safely.

Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating medication orders, ensuring proper labeling and supply, making recommendations for therapy changes, and maintaining accurate customer databases.

You'll also play a crucial role in investigating and resolving medication-related queries, communicating with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members, and supervising the preparation of medicines.

Additionally, you'll be responsible for maintaining controlled drug registers and ensuring proper security conditions for medications.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a licensed pharmacist in the State of Florida, with a strong background in long-term care experience. Previous experience in hospital and retail pharmacy or other medical fields is highly preferred.

You'll also need excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential in this role.

Familiarity with computer systems and framework/ECM software knowledge would be an added advantage.
