Private Duty Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Private Duty Nurse Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
- Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate.
- Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
- Participate in and update the nursing care plan.
- Takes appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieves expected outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- A current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
We prefer candidates with:
- Six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
- Home health experience.
You must be able to:
- Speak, write, read, and understand English.
- Travel.
- Lift 50 pounds.
- Position patients and move equipment without assistance.
This role requires the ability to function in a variety of environments, which may involve exposure to allergens and other conditions.
