Position Summary:

The Aseptic Preparation Operator is accountable for the preparation of batch-specific materials within and outside the cleanroom environment. This role involves transporting materials, supplies, and finished products to designated areas, collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless workflow and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare batch-specific materials (staging) within and outside the cleanroom.
  • Maintain full gowning and garbing qualifications.
  • Retrieve, prepare, stage, and deliver materials and supplies to production, packaging, and distribution centers.
  • Communicate regularly and work collaboratively with Team Leads, Supervisors, and other personnel to achieve production goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Contribute to team objectives and foster a cooperative spirit across departments.

Additional Duties:

  • Perform high-level cleaning and disinfecting of sterile cleanrooms.
  • Support the availability of raw materials through effective communication.
  • Review documentation for accuracy and address discrepancies as needed.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and maintain stock organization.
  • Transport recycling and waste materials to designated disposal locations.
  • Stay current with all cGMP-related training requirements.
  • Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety protocols.
  • Execute other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Effective oral and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependability and punctuality are essential.
  • Proficiency in computer skills is advantageous.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a related field is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
  • Willingness to use small stepladders as needed.
  • Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
