Position Summary:
The role involves performing routine analytical chemistry assessments using various techniques in a regulated environment to support the release of raw materials, stability, and finished products, ensuring compliance and timely laboratory support for pharmaceutical products. Responsibilities include maintaining laboratory inventory and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine analytical tasks following all relevant Standard Operating Procedures and approved methods.
- Perform laboratory analyses of pharmaceutical raw materials and finished products, including pH, color, clarity, FTIR, UV-VIS, HPLC, and other testing methods.
- Document and interpret all test results, calculations, and observations accurately.
- Generate analytical reports with integrity and accuracy.
- Identify and report Non-Conforming results to Quality Control Management.
- Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for daily operations.
- Engage in laboratory investigations and assist in maintaining compliance with cGMP and safe work practices.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Ensure trainees receive appropriate guidance and training.
- Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment.
- Perform general maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Safely dispose of waste and uphold cleanliness standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
- OR a Bachelor's degree with one year of relevant experience.
- OR an Associate's degree with two years of relevant experience.
- OR a high school diploma with four years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques and experience with HPLC is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
- Knowledge of cGMP and USP standards is a plus.

- Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills with management and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Basic laboratory skills, including pipetting and sample preparation.
Physical Requirements:
Routine physical activities such as bending, reaching, standing, and walking.
