Role Summary: As an essential member of the tire curing division, you will be instrumental in executing tire thermocouple evaluations and blow point assessments, while also overseeing C-Clamp product functionality.
Reporting Hierarchy: You will be under the supervision of the Lead Cure Compounder, who will provide direction and assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee thermocouple operations as directed by the cure compounders
- Assist cure compounders in the upkeep and examination of curing systems
- Evaluate thermocouple study findings and prepare analytical reports
- Support the formulation of suitable curing parameters for each tire to guarantee superior product quality
- Engage in the creation of factory curing standards
- Verify the readiness of the curing process prior to the implementation of new press or curing methodologies
- Participate in ongoing enhancement initiatives and propose solutions for product/process discrepancies
- Execute all tasks in a safe and compliant manner with regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a Technical Field or equivalent professional experience
- At least 1 year of experience in quality or technical roles within a manufacturing environment
- Proven mechanical skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Competence in Microsoft Excel & Word
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
Compensation Information: The expected salary range for this position is between $50,000 and $65,000 annually. The final salary offer will be determined by various factors beyond just experience and skills.
