Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Research Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general nursing care to study participants, reviewing and executing clinical research protocols, and completing and maintaining study documents in accordance with sponsor and site requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Provides general nursing care to study participants, including monitoring of vitals, blood sugar, vital signs, lab tests, and other clinical tasks.
- Reviews and executes clinical research protocols, ensuring compliance with sponsor and site requirements.
- Completes and maintains study documents, including Case Report Forms, in accordance with study protocol and sponsor requirements.
- Recruits and screens potential study subjects, schedules subjects for study-specific assessments, and maintains accurate records.
- Accompanies sponsor representatives during site visits and maintains effective communication with the sponsor.
- Maintains adequate inventory of data and supplies, and ensures proper collection, processing, and shipment of laboratory specimens.
- Observes, documents, reports, and follows up on adverse events and serious adverse events.
- Conducts informed consent processes, per CenExel Standard Operating Procedures.
- Follows up on laboratory results and maintains safety standards when performing job responsibilities.
- Maintains study logs and site relations, and ensures accountability for study and clinical drugs.
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a current license in CA.
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Must be capable of performing all clinical tasks relevant to licensure and/or training.
- Must be able to clearly communicate verbally with patients.
- Must have good interpersonal skills, demonstrated through interactions with patients, staff, and sponsor representatives.
- Must be self-motivated and able to perform tasks independently.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Must reflect the professional image of the company, upholding the company vision in actions and demeanor.
