Job Summary

MRC Global is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for executing and achieving established financial goals, as well as developing and growing sales in an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow existing accounts.
  • Sales Execution: Meet or exceed gross margin goals through effective negotiation and sales techniques.
  • Customer Service: Deliver superior service to customers through consultative sales, product knowledge, and technical expertise.
  • Market Research: Research and develop information on new projects and market trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with customers and vendors to ensure compliance and maximize profitability.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with branch and regional management to develop strategic business plans and implement sales strategies.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience: Four or more years of experience in customer service, inside sales, and/or warehouse services with increasing responsibility.
  • Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of PVF materials, pricing, supply, and contract terms; ability to communicate and promote ideas; and willingness to travel.
  • Additional Qualifications: Ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status; ability to read and speak English proficiently; and ability to understand and comply with MRC Global guidelines and expectations.
