Position Overview

Provides assistance to end users by navigating the IT framework and associated applications. Diagnoses and resolves issues related to personal computers, local networks, servers, telecommunication systems, and other IT platforms. Works in collaboration with various third-party support vendors. Records incidents in the service operations management system.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborates with various third-party support vendors to troubleshoot and resolve local end user and IT environment issues and service requests.
  2. Acts as the intermediary between the Service Desk and end users.
  3. Assists in preparations and user acceptance testing necessary for infrastructure projects and enhancements.
  4. Meets the expectations of continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining 5S standards across all locations.
  5. Works with end users to prepare for Audit and SOX compliance.
  6. Communicates with internal and external customers to document resolutions, recommend courses of action, and follow through on project requirements and enhancements.
  7. Implements IT operations and service delivery decisions as specified.
  8. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge and experience with servers, networks, PC/printer maintenance, antivirus software, Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to identify and analyze technical issues.
  • Basic project management capabilities.
  • Demonstrates understanding of IT policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Ability to articulate and explain technical needs and problems to provide solutions.
  • Fluent in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility and/or location.
Educational Background

Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.

Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of experience in desktop support.
  • Experience with IT Outsourcing relationships is preferred.

Limited travel required.
