Position Overview

Facilitates assistance to end users by navigating the IT framework and associated applications. Diagnoses and resolves complications with personal computers, local networks, servers, telecommunication systems, and other IT platforms. Works in conjunction with various third-party support entities. Records incidents in the service operations management system.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Partners with multiple third-party support providers to troubleshoot and resolve local end-user and IT environment issues and service requests.
  2. Acts as the intermediary between the Service Desk and end users.
  3. Assists in preparations and user acceptance testing necessary for infrastructure projects and enhancements.
  4. Meets the expectations of continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining 5S standards across all locations.
  5. Collaborates with end users to prepare for Audit and SOX compliance.
  6. Engages with customers internally and externally to document resolutions, recommend courses of action, and follow through on project requirements and enhancements.
  7. Implements IT operations and service delivery decisions as specified.
  8. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge and experience with servers, networks, PC/printer maintenance, antivirus software, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to identify and analyze technical issues.
  • Basic project management capabilities.
  • Demonstrates understanding of IT policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate and articulate technical needs and issues to provide solutions.
  • Fluent in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility and/or location.
Educational Background

Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.

Experience Requirements
  • Three years of experience in desktop support.
  • Experience with IT Outsourcing relationships is preferred.

Limited travel required.
