Cashier - Gumby's/Geno's (Chester Area)

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Gumby's/Geno's in the Chester Area. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating the point of sale (POS) register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining a customer-friendly environment, and resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Operate the POS register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, credit/debit card transactions, and coupons.
  • Replenish merchandise on shelves and coolers, participate in receiving merchandise, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Communicate maintenance issues, incident reports, and POS/equipment issues to the Lead or Store Manager in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Previous work experience in a retail setting utilizing a point of sale system preferred.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
