Sales Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team at Rudd Equipment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for securing profitable business for the company through effective sales presentations, adequate territorial coverage, and administration of sales duties.
Key Responsibilities
Secure orders and conduct surveys of assigned territory
Study product population, locate new prospects, and determine customer needs
Plan and conduct sales calls, reviewing equipment features and benefits
Assist customers with problems and issues, including technical assistance and new developments
Maintain customer relationships, new contracts, and product development
Manage sales calls, reports, and M3 Sales Automation
Follow up on leads, contract lettings, and inquiries
Articulate and educate customers on mining applications and provide valuable advice and recommendations
Ensure timely delivery of equipment and adherence to contract conditions
Work closely with Credit Manager and other personnel on account conditions
Complete required sales training courses and work in partnership with Rudd Product Support Representatives
Requirements
College degree and/or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of verifiable success in equipment sales
Basic arithmetic skills and ability to accurately compare and transcribe figures
Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with large and small business groups
Proficient in MS Office Operating Systems and M3 Sales Automation
Work Environment
