Reports to: Director of Global Responsible Sourcing
Essential Qualifications: Candidates should possess experience in sustainability and procurement, particularly in corporate goods/services and corporate travel sectors.
Role Overview: The Responsible Sourcing team is committed to promoting inclusive and sustainable sourcing methodologies for products, services, and corporate travel. This position entails assessing and managing the supplier network to guarantee diversity and sustainability throughout the global supply chain. This role is intended for leave coverage with the potential for extension or full-time employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Analytics Expertise:
- Gather and evaluate supplier emissions data for Categories 1 (purchased goods/services) and 6 (corporate travel).
- Establish benchmarks, implement decarbonization initiatives, and monitor performance metrics.
- Leverage data intelligence systems for tracking and reporting purposes.
Business Intelligence:
- Conduct research to support proactive emissions tracking.
- Participate in industry events and webinars to acquire best practices.
Operational Management:
- Implement project plans, budgets, and strategies for Responsible Sourcing.
- Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assist in project documentation.
Data Communication Skills:
- Develop and present supplier sustainability performance metrics.
- Create reports to inform and drive strategic actions.
- Trusted Advisor Role:
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners.
- Develop and coordinate sustainability initiatives.
Process Improvement:
- Enhance sourcing processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders.
Diversity in Supply Chain:
- Identify, onboard, and support diverse suppliers.
- Assist in diversity outreach and training initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 2-3+ years of analytics experience, with a preference for sustainability or ESG experience.
- Background in the entertainment industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to learn advanced data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies is advantageous.
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
- Experience in environmental engineering and data-driven strategy development.
- Experience with supplier diversity and client-facing roles.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to engage with high-level executives and facilitate events.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant sustainability certifications are a plus.
- Agile/Scrum/Kanban certifications preferred.
