At Veterans Inc., we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) program, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our veteran residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain resident safety and confidentiality, utilizing security protocols and administering breathalyzers and random drug tests as needed.
- Prepare and submit detailed shift and incident reports of all activities, incidents, and emergencies that occur during shift.
- Ensure the safety and security of the building, company vehicles, and all Veterans Inc. property on site.
- Respond to client-related emergencies, utilizing CPR, First Aid, and Narcan administration training.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year experience in security, residential, or direct care services.
- Successful completion of a CORI/Background records check.
- Compliance with Veterans Inc. COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
