Residential Care Specialist

Brockton Area Multi-Servi is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities in a home environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence, social connections, and community participation.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
- Support individuals in accessing community resources, including transportation and recreational activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Certified Nursing Assistant, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to pounds; repetitive and substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a moderate to occasionally loud work environment.
