Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Supervisor to join our team at MaineHealth. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising MA, RN, and PSR staff within the practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and staff performance.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities for staff members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the team is equipped with the latest knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Active State of Maine Nursing License or eligible for licensure to practice in Maine.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • At least 2 years of RN experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices and standards, medical procedures, tests, and clinical/clerical skills necessary to perform all functions and assist physicians.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
  • Ability to identify patients at risk and initiate appropriate action.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to gather and interpret information necessary to resolve problems in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite applications.
