Job Summary:

An Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and directing the activities of dock, P&D, and road operations. This includes managing customer service, productivity, quality freight handling, claims prevention, load average, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and direct employees to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Implement security and loss prevention procedures to protect company assets.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures in accordance with company, OSHA, and DOT guidelines.
  • Work with Central Dispatch to develop a linehaul plan to move freight efficiently and effectively.
  • Schedule employees to meet service requirements and company standards.
Requirements:
  • U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and strong communication skills
  • Previous dock operations or supervisory experience preferred
