Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to become a vital part of our team. This position offers full-time hours on the 1st shift from 6 AM to 2 PM and includes a competitive sign-on bonus of up to $2,000. As an LPN or RN, you will provide essential nursing care to our residents in a nurturing and homely atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and maintain accurate documentation of residents' health status.
  • Monitor and report any significant changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Oversee and guide the daily tasks of Resident Care Assistants.
  • Provide mentorship and direction to Lead Resident Care Assistants in their roles.
  • Coordinate care with external providers through effective case management.
  • Balance service delivery with promoting resident independence.
  • Identify and assist in preventing elder abuse and report findings as required.
  • Respond to emergencies and utilize the personal emergency response system appropriately.

Qualifications for LPN/RN:

  • Current state licensure as an LPN or RN, along with CPR certification.
  • Graduation from an accredited LPN or RN program as per state regulations.
  • Preferred experience of 1 to 2 years in a nursing role.
  • Experience working with the elderly in any capacity is highly valued.
