Position Overview
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Summit Health, you will play a vital role within our healthcare team, specifically in a specialized department. Your responsibilities will include assisting with medical procedures and implementing care strategies while ensuring high-quality patient care in a professional and safe environment. You will manage your time effectively to maintain a smooth patient flow. The LPN will also offer personal assistance, medical care, emotional support, and other essential services to patients. Staying current with relevant medical knowledge and applying it in practice is expected. You will communicate effectively with all team members to foster a collaborative work atmosphere.

DOCUMENTATION:
Accurately enter patient information into the electronic medical record system in a timely manner. Manage the physician's desktop efficiently and accurately.ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
Provide clerical support to patients, including appointment scheduling and obtaining pre-authorizations. Manage medical inventory and order supplies based on established levels. Work under the supervision of a physician or Registered Nurse.Required Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited LPN program. Current LPN licensure in the state of New York and/or Connecticut. Preferred skills in IV therapy and/or phlebotomy. Completion of competency skill checklist within the first three months of employment.Commitment to Our Team
