Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Porter to join our team at Mitchell Management. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the kitchen dish area, including sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping walk-in coolers every night.
  • Scrub all pots, pans, and utensils throughout the shift to maintain production and change and clean compartment sinks when needed.
  • Operate the dish machine, changing and cleaning it every 2 hours or as needed, and clean hood vent inserts every night.
  • Remove garbage from the kitchen and transfer it to the outside garbage area, replacing garbage cans and liners as needed.
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing all stainless steel surfaces and restacking dish racks and carts at the end of the shift.
  • Turn off the dish machine, replace strainers, and leave the door open to vent the machine overnight.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
